Fiona has a wide range of teaching experience, from primary school age children up to retired adults. Fiona currently teaches with South Gloucestershire Music Hub, visiting a number of schools each week. She also teaches privately in North Bristol. She previously taught flute at Sidcot School.

 

Her main instrument is the flute, but she also has grade 8 oboe, piano and theory and can additionally teach beginner/intermediate clarinet and saxophone.

 

Fiona is a friendly teacher who is flexible and aims to meet the needs of every individual pupil. She loves helping each pupil find ways of improving their playing, whatever their standard.

 

Fiona has a ABRSM Teaching Diploma and took a module in Advanced Teaching Skills whilst at the Royal Welsh College. She also has a DBS certificate.
